Henry Winkler, actor, producer, director and children's author met the Treetures and told them about his new middle school book series with Lin Oliver, called "Ghost Buddy."

He also shared the name of his favorite tree with Steward and Blossom.
It is a Liquid Amber (Liquidambar) tree, also called a Sweet Gum tree.

It can grow as high as 100 feet, has leaves shaped like green stars with five points (lobes) and turns red in the fall. The leaves have a sweet smell and its fruit, that grows in clusters (where the seeds hide), are small and look like little ornaments hanging from the tree. They have been called "sweet gumballs" by kids.
No wonder Henry likes this tree!

The Treetures thank Cassie, Val and Holly for a great day at COTL!
